‘Maggie’s garden’

‘Maggie’s garden’ is an exhibition of photo collage & ‘pattern’. It’s a dedication to my mother, Margaret Walford (Maggie), created by Vicky Walford (her daughter), as a visual celebration of our shared love of nature, photography, & craft, using personal photos of Maggie’s garden after she died.

What’s a photograph?

After my last post I was curious to briefly research the history of photography, ponder on what photography means to me, & determine what a photograph actually is.

It all started with the two photographs above, of a friends weathered patio, covered with shade cloth.
