Since completing my Advanced Diploma of Art & Creativity with The Learning Connexion, I've continued exploring not only abstract collage, but what else can be done with magazine pages - fold, rip, knot, etc. It's always an unexpected adventure - we never know what's going to happen until we dive in & try things!

These paper collage explorations are my 'free spirited', very playful antics, exploring the materiality of paper, erasure, & abstraction.

I share my enthusiasm for it in person every week in The Collage Sessions at my Napier studio.

Collage is fun to me because there are no ‘real’ rules to it, so I’m free to invent my own! The ‘rules’ are also flexible, so .....

This is what I love about MAKING my collage / paper work. The surprise discoveries I could not imagine, but ‘discover’ when they just happen, while I am absorbed in the process of making them.
