Keeping a promise.

When my mum died in 2016 I was persistently stalked by the question - What would I regret NOT doing? (with my life)

I knew what it was. Since the loss of my Tinkadoodle ragdoll shop / studio in Wellington, I'd yearned to go back to that wonderful, hand made, creative way of living - making everything up as we go along - no rules. no limit. no map xxx

So I promised myself I'd make living a creative life a priority again, beginning with walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain for 7 weeks - to push me out of my comfort zone (as a kind of life reset) - then NOT return to full time work, but instead enroll in a 1 year, full time, advanced art / creativity diploma, to figure out what kind of creativity was my signature 'thing', that I honestly loved - & loved me back.

At the time, all I really knew was I wanted to 'spend' the rest of my life hand making things, fully plugged into our intuitive, playful curiosity, making everything up as we went along, no rules, no limit, no map xxx

Project vw was born after I'd finished my Advanced Diploma of Art & Creativity with The Learning Connexion. Without their continued guidance, I felt adrift - lost.

I didn't truthfully know what mattered to me, nor what I really wanted, for myself.

Project vw reminds me what I really want at this late stage of my life, whenever I feel lost, confused, or am doubting myself.
