Hi! I’m Vicky Walford, a abstract collage artist.

My exhibition ‘louder than words’, at the Whanganui Community Arts Centre, Nov 3-14, 2021, presents my ‘snapshot’ photos as repeated images - cut, layered & collaged together to create bold, abstract patterns that are powerful portals, ripe for personal interpretation!!

This exhibition builds upon my earlier photo collage exhibition ‘Maggie's garden’, going bigger, bolder, & more abstract. While making this body of work I've gained valuable confidence to evolve & refine my distinctive style of making abstract patterns from pictures!
